🧠 Step 5 — Run Your C3 Intelligence Analysis
Step 5 — Run Your C3 Intelligence Analysis
This is where C3 Intelligence examines your uploaded credit report for Metro 2 violations, FCRA errors, and deletion opportunities. Each finding gets matched to the exact federal law that kills it — ready to drop into a dispute letter.
Already ran your analysis? Skip to the Dispute Builder above.
What the analysis identifies
- Obsolete information — items past 7 years (10 for bankruptcy) under FCRA § 1681c(a)(1)
- Accuracy errors — wrong balance, wrong status, wrong date, wrong creditor name (§ 1681e(b))
- Missing DOFD — collections without verifiable Date of First Delinquency (§ 1681s-2(a)(5))
- Duplicate tradelines — same account reported twice across the report
- Reinserted items — previously deleted items that came back without proper notice (§ 1681i(a)(5)(B))
- Unauthorized inquiries — hard pulls without permissible purpose (§ 1681b + § 1681n)
- Medical debt violations — items that should be off under CFPB Bulletin 2022-02
- Repossession defects — tradelines without proof of present right to possession (FDCPA § 1692f(6))
How to run it
You need a recently uploaded credit report. The analysis runs automatically on every upload — if you've already uploaded, go straight to your existing analysis. If not, upload your report first.
After the analysis
Once you've seen the findings, the next step is generating your dispute package. Every finding maps to a Round 1 letter the dispute builder will write for you.
